TSS Gen2 and Gen3 video servers
Symptom:
When booting up the video server, the system will post and show the 360 Systems splash screen but just prior to launching into the main interface, the system halts on a black screen.
Possible Reason(s):
This is generally due to a failure of the system to properly identify the screen resolution of the attached monitor or failing to identify a USB device attached to the system.
Solution(s):
Steps to identify the problem.
- Remove any unnecessary USB devices and reboot the system.
- Swap the USB keyboard and mouse to a different type and model.
- Swap the monitor to a different type or model.
